Hi there, I’m Moe, short for Mahmood. my journey from college student to tile remodeling business owner wasn’t exactly what I had planned—but it’s been one I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Like many, I started college with big dreams and a clear path ahead. I was working hard to finish my degree, focused on a future that seemed well within reach. But life has a way of throwing curveballs. Just before I could finish my studies, I suffered a serious back injury that turned everything upside down. The physical strain of my injury meant that sitting in class or pursuing my original career path became impossible. At first, it felt like a huge setback—like I was losing everything I had worked for.
But sometimes, a setback is just a setup for something bigger.
While I couldn’t continue my studies the way I planned, I found a new sense of purpose in something unexpected—tile and remodeling. It started with small projects, fixing up my own living space. What began as a way to keep busy while I healed quickly grew into a passion. I found solace in the steady rhythm of laying tile, the meticulous attention to detail, and the satisfaction of transforming a room into something beautiful and functional. The work was physical but therapeutic, and it gave me the opportunity to regain my confidence while learning a craft I never expected to love.
Before long, I realized I wanted to turn this passion into something more. I took the leap and started my own remodeling business, specializing in tile work. Every project is a chance to create something lasting, whether it’s a kitchen floor, a bathroom backsplash, or a stunning feature wall. I take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and bringing clients’ visions to life, all while offering the professionalism and dedication I once dreamed of in my original career.
Today, I’m proud to say that I found my calling in an unexpected place. My injury may have changed my trajectory, but it also led me to discover a talent for remodeling and an entrepreneurial spirit I never knew I had. I’m grateful for the lessons I’ve learned along the way, and I’m excited to keep building, one tile at a time.
